Happenings

Did hear that Trinity College Dublin hired a barbarian to teach Hyborian Studies in its School of English? Yep — none other than Dr. Conan T Barbarian! Actually, a hacker made excellent use of his or her skills and posted the spoof on Trinity’s site. Before Trinity pulled this coolest of hacks, Google rode to fandom’s rescue and preserved the page for our eternal enjoyment. You can check it out by clicking here.

To all fiction submitters to HFQ, we’re still a few months behind on reading but will be catching up soon — closing to new fiction submissions has given us a chance to catch our breath. We apologize for the delay and really appreciate your patience! We plan on re-opening to fiction sometime in early 2012, but in the meantime we’re still open to submissions of poetry and art.

Thanks for stopping by. We hope you enjoy Heroic Fantasy Quarterly Issue 10!
